Can a person use magnet therapy to improve brain function?!
Question: Some people use the electrical energy in magnets to relieve pain in various parts of the body, so I'm wondering, because the brain operates on electrical energy, can a person improve their brain's ability or speed by taping magnets to their forehead or temple area?

I don't know if that would help you. You never want to put a possitive south magnate on your body. Always Negative North. There is a big magnet company out there and their product has both magnets...but I say again...never positive south! I am a biofeedback specialist and I use that to retrain brain waves and help with super learning. If you want more info email me and I'll help you find someone in your area.
No they can't. Household magnets are not powerful enough to penetrate the skin, even if a magnetic field would be beneficial to the brain
Sorry to the lady above, but I have been in all types of nursing and medicine for 20 years, and (personally) think magnetic anything is bogus, as every MD I ever met. Same goes for shark cartilage, (they now know sharks get cancer), for cancer, as well as Chelation therapy, (only approved for removing heavy metals from the system.)
Sorry... I think acupuncture has some merit, as well as Chiropractic, but I personally would not waste my time, energy or $. God Bless, (just my humble feelings).
