Is Corning ware safe? Is it as safe as glassware?!

Question: Its better than glass, less likely to break. Corning ware was designed specifically to go from oven to table.....unlike most glassware. It can go directly into the freezer or water without the fear of it cracking.

Very safe, I have used Coring for more than 40 yrs and it works fine, foods cook good in them, it is a good product.

Yes it is - it's ceramic which is as safe as glass.

We have a Corning top stove and some Corning wear. I prefer using my olld beat up electric skillet though. I also have a set of real stick free pans but the wife gets them too hot on the Corning top stove. It is good stuff though.
