Put some Mentholatum on a cotton ball and place it in your ear. When I was a kid, my Mom used to do this. Sounds strange but it works.
mix red pepper and lemon juice--heat it up in the microwave (not hot though, just warm) and pour down in your year. this will draw out the infection if there is any, plus the heat relieves the pain in your ear.
The best things are either a little warmed up olive oil or Collidal Silver will clear up an earache faster than anything. I have it around for all ailments.
light a cigerette and stick it in the ear. let it burn, you'll see that it burns fairly fast on it's own, that is because it's drawing the moisture out. take it out before it gets to close to the ear. when you do you'll also notice that the filter is moist, from drawing it out,... the moisture that is. good luck with that, boy do i know how painful earaches are, and there really isn't much you can do. so hope i helped.

Try taking olive extract, you can get it at the health food store get the 500 mg or the 250 mg, it will help drain your sinuses and your ear canal, I have used this for years to help my earaches and I try not to get a lot of water in my ears while showering or swimming.
