Can AYURVEDA help with Skin problems???!


Question: I am an 18 year old male with rosacea. (at least what I believe to be - here are some photos during a flush)

It usually gets bad with heat, spicy food, phsyical exertion (working out), stress, ect.. When I get a bad flush I feel a pulse in my nose, and the redness looks like in the pic shown. As you can see I have some visible veins as well.

I have tried all western methods to treat it - nothing reall helps! Do you think Ayurveda can get to the root of the problem and GET rid of it?

Absolutely. You would need to avoid certain food at first, but eventually your system would be built up enough to be able to tolerate (but not over the top). It would balance out things and strengthen your system. But remember, for lasting healing, give it time. tho you should notice some effects very soon. Also look into homeopathy.

Also, if you just watch what you take in, you'll see the difference within months. Try to go mostly with fruits and veggies, and limit yourself to greasy and spicy stuff.

A lot of skin problems are caused by an imbalance in Pitta, which is the fire of transformation in your body and mind.
You need to do cooling things that will help bring that back into balance. Just to see if it helps try different workouts that can cool things off and cut stress at the same time like yoga and a nice long walk in the fresh air. Meditation can also be a big factor in helping you out. Here is a link to my blog that shows how I got my health back after giving up on modern science. Oh, and try cutting out the pungent or spicy food you eat for a little bit until the heat cools in your body.
