Aniseed, it's the stuff that's in Bongela.
my Dr. suggested , Folic Acid. I have a Rx, but can buy at health food stores, and you can adjust the amount . I take a high dose, so don't think can get too much.? your body will excrete what not needed. the only other remedy i have heard of is 1part to 4 parts of Hydrogen Peroxide ,3% solution USP. stronger if you can stand the taste, rince around in mouth , hold , then rinse out., several times a day.. good luck
My mother swears by fresh lemon juice and salt. It hurts but she says it really works. I use a product called First Aid Oil. It is a blend of essential oils (tea tree, lavender, peppermint, immortelle, etc). It tastes nasty, but you can put it on a cotton ball and place the it on your ulcer for a while. This blend also works well for cold sores and any type of boo-boo. Works great on fresh bruises, cuts, scraps, insect bites, and burns. Also, I have used it on my dog when he gets problems with hot spots or whatever. He wont lick it, so it stays on. www.sourcevital.com
