What are some good safe anti-anxiety herbal suppliments..help with quiting smoki!

Question: I am preparing to quit smoking for the 100th time.
I feel the thing that has failed me before is not treating my anxiety.
I am already a somewhat anxious person and I feel that at present time the nicotine helps alleviate my general anxiety. Without smoking the anxiety is 10 times worse. (In the past attempts I didn't really crave a cigarette but the anxiety was unbearable).
So I wanting to prepare by maybe getting some anti-anxiety herbs in my system before quitting.
Any good recommendations?

St John's Wort and Valerian do wonders. BUT!!!!!!!!! If you are one the pill, St John's Wort can decrease it's efficiency. It speeds up the rate at which you absorb things, so if you are on any prescription meds, you should speak to a pharmacist or doctor.

My fiance is trying hypnotherapy soon, I'll let you know how it goes.

One other thing, there is a medication on the market called Zyban which you take while smoking and it makes you find cigarettes disgusting. Don't take it. It was designed as an anti depressant, but is now widely banned for use as such as it frequently makes people extremely suicidal and anxious. Some twit prescribed it to my fiance and it damn near killed him.

I wish you sucess!

Oh yack, I'm enjoying my anti-anxiety herbal supplement right now.... but I don't know if it's quite what you're looking for...
