Is there really any non-prescription or natural substance that is a safe stimula!

Question: While Caffeine is common, that doesn't make it "safe". There are thousands of people that have stress or anxiety induced problems because of caffeine and millions that are or have been addicted to it.
With that being said, any stimulant CAN cause problems, even something as simple as pure sugar or natural honey... each one just offers their different problems. Giving too much energy that your body doesn't create on it's own accord is really more of a "lesser of all evils" to find the best option for you.
There are very popular and beneficial natural energy boosters like B-12, Royal Jelly (and other bee-based products), L-Carnitine, Ribose, Ginseng, Guarana and Green Tea (both are natural sources of caffeine). Each of those give a lot of benefits and are safer than drugs, but various people do have some problems with any of them.

Coffee

Coffee, I can't stay awake very good without it.

I think your best bet is caffiene, I know you're probably looking for something stronger, but think about it. "Dietary supplements" are not regulated by the FDA, and even some things (like phen phen) are approved by the FDA only to be made illegal soon after! There's no way to tell if a substance is safe unless it has been around for a long time, don't take the risk.

Coffee, tea, cola, chocolate. Too much will make you jittery, keep to less than three servings a day in total from the group.

Try equal parts apple cidar vinegar and honey in an 8 ouce glass of water. usually one to two tablespoons each, but try and see what YOU like. mix it up and drink it. You'll feel it all the way down...it's a great pick me up :)

ginko and ginseng
