Is there a natural way of steralising a dishcloth?!

Question: We boil ours for several minutes or use the microwave for three minutes.

Answers: We boil ours for several minutes or use the microwave for three minutes.

If you want to do it without any chemicals, try boiling it.

Or microwaving while wet for about 1 minute. I do this to my dish sponges.

boil it

i think tea tree oil is good for this.

Boil the dishcloth in plain water for at least 5-10 minutes.
I find it easier to use bleach on the dish cloth and disinfect the sink, stove top and the counter areas as well while I am doing it and it will eliminate any stains as well. However you were looking for a natural way, and using white vinegar, will help you in this area cleansing and stain removing as well.

Vinegar

boil it for 10 minutes in salted water. Rinse well in clear boiling water and when cool use.

I actually throw mine into the dishwasher when I run a load of dishes. I spread them out flat on the top shelf over the glasses. Works great, keeps 'em from gettin' stinky, and the water is hotter than in my washer, b/c the dishwasher has a heat booster and a heated dry option. The dishwasher soap and heat also serve to get any stains out. Voila!
