Acupressure for Migraine?!

Question: One of my psychotropic (depression) meds dropped suddenly and I've got a non-stop migraine that I've had for several days.

Does anyone know an acupressure treatment for migraine? I already tried TKM and it didn't work.

I haven't had acupressure, but I have had acupuncture and I can tell you I haven't had a migraine for 3 months!!! Trust me, the little prick of the acupuncture needle tickles compared to a migraine!

I don't know of a specific acupressure method aside from placing your fingertips at each temple, closing your eyes, breathing deeply (abdominal breathing) and applying firm pressure for several minutes. Finish by making a circular "design" on the temples, head, face, jaw and neck.

Try modifying your diet for the next little while too. Avoid red wine, dark chocolate, tea, coffee and cola drinks. This might help you to feel better.

I hope you are feeling a lot better very soon.
