What should I do about my sore throat/fever?!
Question: I have a 101 degree fever and sore throat. I took a motrin 4 the fever but I dont know what 2 do about my sore throat. I hate cough medicine but my throat feels on fire. I am not gonna take cough medicine no matter what. What else can I do 2 make it stop hurting?

Drink some 'mint calamine tea ' with honey it will sooth your throat.
I use it as I get tonsillitis all of the time as I have it now just got sore when I wolk up. It sucks. I have been on 3 different antibiotics to get rid of it and it came back in 1 month! so I know! and try gargling with warm salt water.

Gargle warm salt water or drink lemon juice w/a little honey. Both work for me.
You might consider some Zinc tablets. There are some reviews for products like this over at http://www.nutritionaltree.com/search.as... however this site does not sell any of them, so you could probably get some at a local health store.
