Can a 16yro in Connecticut buy OTC drugs?!

Question: like NyQuil, and Ibuprofen, and etc.
PS I have seen all the stupid answers you people give about how it can be addictive, and how some pills are used to make meth. I will honestly say im not a "druggie". I dont smoke, and ive promised my self not to drink or do any other illegal drugs because i have seen what it's done to some of my own family.

It depends on what it has in it. Most cough meds with dextromethorphan are now only sold to those 18 and older. If you really need them for an illness or something and your parents won't go with you to buy them, if you tell the cashier your reason, they might sell it to you. Your pretty close to 18, its not like your some stupid 12 year old obviously trying to go robotripping.

sure you can, and for the record Nyquil has been reformulated.

Yes they can.

.

Yeah you can buy most OTC drugs. The only exceptions are the ones that have Pseudoephedrine/Ephedrine. In some places you can't buy Coricidin Cough and Cold because it is abused a lot. But basically anything you find on the shelves you can buy. Most of the products behind the counter require an ID though.
