cipralex can do that to you, but the side effects do ease. once you get used to taking it on a regular basis, your body will stop fighting against it! give it some time.
in the mean time, you can get tablets like anti-nausea tablets, which are great for tackling nausea-maybe you could ask your GP about those?i took some in my first few weeks on cipralex and they were great.
but then again, there are other medications out there, and there are always alternatives.make sure you chat things through with your GP, as they'll know best.
good luck

That's them going back into your system again, that's why your getting the side effects you got when you started taking them, they will pass though if you keep taking it regularly. If the side effects are too much for you and you arnt comfortable the doctor will discuss alternatives medicine for you with less distressing side effects.

cipralex what is it for

Senorita it is unwise to stop your medication before speaking to your GP. As it is only seven weeks I would say that you really have'nt given it time to kick in. However, if your GP is in agreement ask if you can be put on setraline it is a much better and falls into the SSRI category of antidepressants.

I really hope that you do begin to feel better soon...but never just stop your medication again it is needs to be done under supervision other wise you will always always suffer the side effects of withdrawal symptoms.

Yeah, I had to come off mine due to the side effects. Wait until you can't have an orgasm....that's just one of its cr@p side effects!

I'm taking 5htp now. It's an amino acid and helps to increase the serotonin levels in the body naturally - there's no side effects and it's safe and non-addictive. Take 50-100mg at bedtime with a carbo snack or some milk.

I've experienced horrible side effects from Cipralex. I stopped taking the side effects disappeared.
