designer drugs
stimulants (uppers)
depressants (downers)
hallucigens
inhalants
opiates

heres some examples for a better idea

designer drugs - ecstacy, ghb
depressants - pot, alcohol
stimulant - tabacco ,coke, amphetamines(adderall)
opiates - herion, vicodin, oxycontin
inhalants - albuterol, ether
hallucigens - lsd, mushrooms(psilocybin), mesculine

Depressant, stimulant, barbituate, hallucinogen, opiates

Analgesics: relieve pain (block signals?)

Narcotics: Opiates and Opioids
Non-narcotics: Aspirin, etc.
Sedative Hypnotics: relax, induce sleep
Alcohol (ETOH)
Anti-anxiety agents, tranquilizers
Non-Barbiturates: Qualude, Halcion
Long acting Barbiturates: Phenobarbital
Short acting Barbiturates: Seconal
3. Anti-Psychotics: Thorazine
4.Anti-Depressants: Prozac, Lithium

6. Marijuana
