Most effective, practical and natural form of birth control?!

Question: We're having our fourth and hopefully final child soon . Love them all, but we're planning this as our last. We conceive just by looking at each other. Had all kids naturally...got pregnant while breastfeeding each time...Don't want drugs,Depo...not crazy about physical barriers...thinking about tying tubes...(?) help!

I don't recommend tubal ligation for any woman. Although it sounds good in theory, too many women end up with hysterectomies within a year or so because they either experience horrendously heavy cycles, or cycles get heavy and too frequent, or just won't stop. It's easier, cheaper and a lot less side effects to snip the mister- vasectomy is really the way to go. It can be done in the urologist's office as an outpatient procedure. He will moan about it for a couple days, and have to take life a bit slow, but otherwise there aren't any unfortunate side effects. It takes about six weeks to get a zero count back, and although you have to use something until then, once you get a zero count you are home free. No mucking about with your parts, no hormone worries, and best of all- no surprises. Aside from that, the DH and I shared your delemma. I don't tolerate the hormonal types of BC at all- had number one child on the pill. I expelled IUD's and gave up on those. Used the old fashioned diaphram for years- and it worked fine. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do- you can put that in each night as a precaution, and no worry if you don't need it. But aside from that- vasectomy is the way to go if you are looking for a permanent fix- no pun intended.

Vasectomy, vasectomy, vasectomy!!!

An aspirin...Held firmly between the knees!!! Kidding...He needs a Vasectomy. You had the babies...he should have the pre-cautionary surgery...

condoms? safe sex?

Don't tie your tubes! It has tons of nasty side effects. Have him get a vasectomy. Much easier, safer, less invasive.

Vasectomy, vasectomy, vasectomy
