Which medication is best for kids ? Homoeopathy or Allopathy?!

Question: Homeopathy.

Allopathic medicine for children is mostly just handing out antibiotics, shooting them full of more and more vaccines, and putting tubes in their ears.

Answers: Homeopathy.

Allopathic medicine for children is mostly just handing out antibiotics, shooting them full of more and more vaccines, and putting tubes in their ears.

Homoeopathy

People often try to use these medication forms exclusive of one another, and I don't think that's such a good idea. Both are valid and useful for certain treatments, and offer different approaches, and should be seen as compliments, rather than replacements -- I support most forms of medicine (allopathy, osteopathy, homeopathy, naturopathy, herbalism, acupuncture, massage), and they make excellent compliments -- because often, what one form can't treat, another can -- with great success.

Each form of medicine has it's strong points -- don't exclude anything.

How about doing something very radical...take them to a doctor!

I only use homeopathy on my 2 youngest children aged 6 years and 3 years. I believe its best as it works holistically, supporting the vital force of the patient and allowing the body to heal itself.

Im not saying that there isnt a place for allopathy - i just havent needed to use it so far.....

Without a a doubt you should employ Allopathy (Conventional EVIDENCE BASED Medicine). Homeopathy does not work and this has been shown in many reports.

Allopathy has its failures, yet its effects are real, unlike in homeopathy.

Homeopathy was good at the time it was created because conventional medicine was in its infancy and was doing more harm than good (bloodletting etc). Homeopathy prevented people getting killed off by other doctors, yet did not cause people to get better in itself.

The theory of homeopathy is based upon an assumption by Samuel Hahnemann. While translating a medical paper Hahnemann read about the effectiveness of a type of bark (containing quinnine) in treating malaria. Hahnemann was not convinced by the explanation given why the drug worked, so he took some himself to try to establish this. Hahnemann experienced symptoms similar to those of malaria when he ate the bark so he proposed the idea that the curative effect was apparent because of the similarity of the symptoms between the disease and the drug.

The irony is that the symptoms of an overdose of quinine are not usually similar to those caused by malaria. He felt the malarial symptoms just because he was allergic to quinine. This is why quinine is sold as a homeopathic drug while it is actually Allopathic, the curative effect of quinine is not due to homeopathy.

Please don't fall into the woo trap.

this is depend on what type of resistant power kid have and type of disease which need medication.if some thing for we can wait and serious type we can give homoepathy , and in case need urgent attention, u have to go after allopathy. homeopathy will take times , but kill the disease with its roots , whereas allopathy caused several side effects. best is homeopathy if it is suitable and if one can have patience.

I would say homeopathy! My aunt has raised her 3 kids that way, and they are so healthy and I've never seen them sick. Antibiotic Resistance is a huge deal (super bug and all), and all the great medicine that once cured, are not doing it anymore. Docs overprescribe and ppl misuse antibiotics. I would stay away from antibacterial products, too.
EDIT: I was a CNA and went to nursing school for a year: during that time, my trust in doctors rapidly declined.

Claims for efficacy of homeopathic treatment beyond the placebo effect are unsupported by scientific and clinical studies.

As a good mother, evidence-based medicine is the only option for your children.

Dont listen to SOFOS. Its not true that it has not been proven, scientist only cant understand it yet, thats all. I would only use homeopathy on my children (if i had some) because Ive got some experience with homeo (the great one!!) and i would never use allopathy on my self either
