metamucil isnt as effective as psyllium. i use it and i know what she means but its much more potent and does an excellent job. take it with sonne's #7 detoxificant (volcanic clay) and it will rid her of all that plaque faster. tell her to thin it out a little. it'll enlarge in the GI tract later.

Always take psyllium with plenty of liquid. Without lots of fluid, it is possible to develop an intestinal blockage, causing severe, painful constipation.
Some people are allergic to psyllium. Reactions are often quick, marked by a rash, itching, and in severe cases, difficulty breathing or swallowing. Get immediate medical help.
Psyllium should not be taken within two hours of taking any medication, as it may delay absorption.
Psyllium may make the antibiotics doxycycline, minocycline, and tetracycline less effective; check with your doctor.
