It's really giving you an additional quantity of Vitamin C, over and above what you take in with your daily diet, and that's good stuff to prevent colds 'n' such. God Bless you.

Giving you extra help to prevent colds or to fight off a fever or infection. What your body doesn't need your body will excrete in your urine. Vitamin C is extremely healthy. I take it daily whether I am sick or not.

I don't need to repeat the other answers because they are pretty much correct however don't take more than 1200mg a day or you could end up with a bad case of the runs. It's okay to take a daily Vitamin C supplement just make sure you aren't over dosing on it.
