Fighting infections naturally, with food and supplements, any ideas ?!

Question: I had an abscessed tooth for a long time, I think I need to do everything NATURALLY, that I can do to fight infections, I do not wish to deal with anti biotics, so for those of you who know ways to use food and supplements to fight infection, please tell me what vitamins, food especially, drinks etc. I am not sure my CFIDS body is properly processing supplements that is why I would like to know any foods good for fighting infections. Thanks and no I'm not going to the dr. now.

Colloidal silver is a very powerful bacteriostatic agent and is supposed to be capable of killing 650 different pathogens, if you believe that claim.

Garlic is an antibacterial agent as well as an antimicrobial agent and taking 6 high strength odourless garlic oil capsules (Herron) every day will boost your immune system.

Taking 1 or 2 gm of Vitamin C every day will also boost your immune system.

A healthy diet also helps. Plenty of fruit and vegetables will give you more antioxidants and enzymes that you need for good health.

Sometimes the infection is so far involved that the necessity is antibiotics "if" you don't have a history of being allergic.

I suggest supplementation, but with whole food based supplementation, so that your cells can utilize them to help your immune system hand in hand.

Food choices are extremely important. Lots of raw fruits and vegetables, preferably organic and eliminate man made chemicals and food additives like hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners, dies etc.

the only way to fight infections is through the use of antibiotics...by taking vitamins, specialty drinks, etc. only feed you and have no effect on the micro-organisms....the effects of a long term infection especially an abscessed tooth is the loss of the tooth, bone infection in your jaw or worse.

Sorry, but an abcess will require antibiotics if it hasn't gone by itself within a few days. Nothing "natural" like eating vitamins and supplements will kill bacteria. And if it's been going on for a long time, it's just because your body can't fight it by itself. Wonder why people died of infected teeth and sinusitis in the middle ages? It's because they didn't have antibiotics. So you could boycott the antibiotics and risk sepsis then death, or go for the antibiotics... Come on... they're natural, they're made from cute little molds (the penicillin, at least... same stuff as in blue cheese but a lot more potent.. and no eating blue cheese won't help, not enough of it in there) so it is natural you won't be taking in chemicals. Even the capsules are gelatin. All natural. Go get your antibiotics.

For natural antibiotics, eat raw, unpasteurized, local honey- it has natural antibiotics to keep the honey from rotting in the hive.
Another item to try for your abscessed tooth is a tea bag, on the gum area. Just put the tea bag on the tooth, and keep it there for a while. I did this when I had my upper incisors removed, and implants inserted. The tea's natural (stomach) enzymes will help w/ the healing process.
All the best to you.

Honey, Garlic, Probiotics (you can get in pill form from supplement stores), Vitamin C

Take silver. Silver has been used to help fight germs, bacteria, and other unfriendly microorganisms. Good luck. If you want more info on the silver, here's a good start. http://www.ghchealth.com/silver-fuzion.p...
