Answers: i have hiccups and i need to get rid of them

this should work..
obtain a .44 desert eagle handgun
load a high grain load (just one) into the chamber
put the mussle in your mouth
pull the trigger

you'll be dead, but the dreaded hiccups will be gone.

JUST KIDDING!!!!!

Try to ignore them, hard I know, but when I get them, they seem to last forever. Do jumping jacks, or something. That works for me.

hold your breath for like 30 sec.

Hold your breath for about 30 seconds, and then try to swallow the hiccup. It sounds impossible, but it can be done, and it works every time.

Light a match and put it out in a glass of water and drink the water. Works every time.

spell your middle name outloud it works

it sounds weird but the best remedy is eating a teaspoon of peanut butter because it soothes the throat.

I know this sounds nuts, but it works every single time. Hold your breath and jump up and down. It has never failed me!

drink a glass of water upside down. fill the glass. lean forward until your head is haning down. place lip of glass on your top lip which will be on the bottom in this position and then drink the whole glass of water in one go. works every time.

Get a paper bag, shake it open, then blow in it till it is full and tie it up.Blowing out the air gets rid of the hiccups.

Best way I have found is to fill your lungs with air, get as much air in as you can. Then hold your breath for 30 seconds to 1 minute, and they should be gone!

i get hiccups every time i eat after i stand up and move around... sounds strange but im serious. I always take seven small sips of water swallowing each time and try not to stop between sips...

Shot of sugar syrup or straight cordial

Hiccups are actually an action the body takes to protect itself. The diaphragm almost always works perfectly. When you inhale, it pulls down to help pull air into the lungs. When you exhale, it pushes up to help push air out of the lungs. But sometimes the diaphragm becomes irritated. When this happens, it pulls down in a jerky way, which makes you suck air into your throat suddenly. When the air rushing in hits your voice box, you're left with a big hiccup.

One Tablespoonful of A-1 Steak Sauce(R) taken orally will very often cure the hiccups.
