Broadly speaking except for the flat earth brigade, enough evidence for homeopathy being no better than placebo is available to convince anyone rational.
The best description of acupuncture I have seen was in a recent on-line medical journal. It compared it to throwing a pint of beer in to a reservoir then drinking the water and expecting to get drunk!
Well, Homeopathy being a placebo and dipping a key in the river in one town and then taking a testtube of water from the next downhill town ... and opening the lock.
That has often been allopaths and rationalists against the Homeo concentrations and all.
However, having tried it out for lengths of time - this is quite effective and "not a placebo". There are all kinds of ailments against which Homeopathy is quite effective. Typically, whatever gets classified as "chronic" in allopathy is what gets sorted out under Homeo. cures.

Bear in mind, however, that the biggest case for agreeing with your views are the madical profession, you know the ones, they've just been found to be giving people drugs for depression that are found to be effective 'little more than placebos' except in the most extreme cases. Most of the most extreme cases will be so damaged that the average GP will not see them as they will be under specialist care. Having these handed out as necessary by so many GP's would be laughable were it not that along with the placebo effect they damage in many other ways from their side effects.
You can believe whatever you want to and when you are waiting for a liver transplant because your kindly GP has looked after you so well they've trashed it from the toxic muck you've taken to get well I hope you will remember how much fun it was to rubbish the things you didn't understand whilst trusting the pharmaceutical industry to do the very best they could for you.
I'd rather look after my immune system, keep well naturally and give my body a chance to fight off the 'lurgy' and listen to downloads if I feel the need than risk my life to someone like Dr Frank who doesn't know his accupuncture from his homeopathy.
