You said you don't feel too hot... do you mean that you're starting to feel sick, like a little achy and feverish? If so, you may be coming down with that cold or flu that is going around like wildfire. If that is the case, I would recommend Airborne, sold over-the-counter (no prescription needed) at most grocery and drug stores. It's a mixture of several herbs that will stop your symptoms in their tracks within 24 hours. You dissolve one tablet in water and drink it; 3 times a day for 3 days. By the end of the first day, you will probably feel much better, BUT DO NOT STOP TAKING IT UNTIL THE THREE DAYS ARE DONE! Otherwise, the symptoms will return.

If you want to go the doctor/prescription route for the flu, see the doctor and tell him your symptoms-- if he decides you have the flu, he can write you a prescription for Tamiflu which you will take (pill form) twice a day for five days. But you must begin taking it by the first or second day of the onset of your symptoms in order for it to be effective.

If your only symptom is the feeling of being clogged behind your nose, and you are not feeling achy or yucky or dizzy or feverish or run-down, you may just have allergies. You can use an over-the-counter nasal spray, like Dristan, and it will clear you up real quick. Within minutes. Or, you can buy one of those little containers in which you mix salt and water (it looks like a little genie lamp) and pour it up one nostril and it comes out the other. Or something like that. My husband and sister SWEAR by it. I can't bring myself to do it, but when I'm in the shower I sniff water up my nose, one nostril at a time, to clear myself up when I need to. (Just don't sniff too hard-- you want to be alive when it's time to dry off, heh heh)

Or, you can take benadryl. It will stop you from producing the stuff thats in the back of your nose/throat. It comes in pill or liquid form. Good luck. Hope you feel better real soon. :)

You can use saline drops in your nose. The instructions are on the bottle. It should loosen the mucus, then you can get it out.

The drops will go to the area behind your nose, and down your throat. It is all connected!!!

I would suggest going to a doctor. It's flu season and you may be getting sinus infection, or something of the like.

Another idea is maybe putting a little vicks vapor rub underneath your nose or on your upper chest before you go to bed at night, it can help unblock the nasal passages.

Ten points for best answer maybe?

Sounds like allergies. What pollen is high in your area right now?
Find an allergy treatment practitioner at www.naet.com

use warm water with epsom salts in a netti pot. works wonders. you can buy a netti pot at any drugstore such as walgreens.

Sounds like a sinus infection. If it starts to make you dizzy you need to see a doctor before it gets worse and makes you go to the ER. This happened to me before.
