Plenty of phlegm on my head and I feel groggy at times.Any home remedies?!

Question: Cut out all dairy products and acidic foods. Dairy builds mucus as does acidic foods (excluding lemon and limes) Try a more alkaline based diet which is like vegetables, nuts, seeds, some fruits etc.

whiskey!!

Mullen leaves are a good phlegm buster as is red cherry bark (many cough remedies are made from this). As far as feeling groggy all the time, it could be you need to increase your complex carbs. I found that I was always tired and then I started taking a Vitamin B complex and my energy level has gone through the roof!

Saline sinus flush with a flush bottle or neti pot.

Like Cindy said, saline flush. But I found even more effective to make an alkaline flush out of baking soda. Make your own by boiling 1/4 cup water in the microwave. Then add 1tsp. baking soda while it is still boiling hot. Let it cool. Then sniff a little out of the palm of your hand into each nostril. Clears congestion almost instantly.
