Calcium citrate?!
Question: Has anyone ever heard of people who take calcium citrate regularly, have a better ability to tan? My mom has taken it for years, and swears that is has changed her skin somehow. Is there any correlation?

I had never heard of this before, so I did a little searching. I found a few occurrences of Calcium-blocking drugs that increased photosensitivity (which means you'll burn easier among other things). By relation, sufficient Calcium would likely decrease photosensitivity, which would in part make a tan more even because it would encourage more of a "slow burn".
That being said, tanning should only be done in moderation because it is literally burning your skin very slowly the same way that a chicken tans while it bakes.
