How Do I Become?!
Question: a hypnotherapist?
Answers: a hypnotherapist?
You certainly do not need a degree.
You could just read books, and hang a shingle on your door, but that would be foolish in the extreme.
If you google "Hypnosis Training" a host of different training providers will come up, and you can do some research.
Personally, just a preference, you understand, not a definitive recommendation, I'd look towards providers that focus on NLP based training - Paul McKenna is one such.
Before you enrol on any course, I would, heartily, recommend meeting and talking to the trainers and some of their trainees, as well as graduates of their schemes - not all trainers are equal, and you may find you would prefer to train with one over another for purely personal reasons.
you need a degree in psychology first
Check out your nearest hypnotherapists. I know mine does training courses to allow you to gain the qualifications needed.
Good luck
I can imagine you would need to take a psychology course at University, then study hypnotherapy as a Post-Graduate study.
A good sales spiel & some training / advice.
You just learn how to hypnotise (it's not hard), and then say "I am a hypnotist".
Voila.
