Dong Quai and Q10 are the best herbal remedies for the menopause.

Sage or Black Cohosh. You can get them both from Boots.

try this link - very helpful, and google it to get more info!

The jamaican 'urb. Also know as weed/ganja/chronic/green/food/spliff.

Menopace are very good, they provide all the essential vitamins and minerals you need?

Any oestrogenic herb, eg: red clover and motherwort - traditionally used for gynaecological complaints, saw palmetto and rhodiola rosea root. However, because of their oestrogen qualities, women with a strong family history of breast or uterine cancer should just do without.

The best-known commercial pain reliever is aspirin. But natural aspirins like willow bark and meadowsweet, contain salicin, which converts in the stomach to salicylic acid (which is aspirin - originally a herbal remedy!). You could also try ginger and feverfew. Standardised herbs from a pharmacist are safer than picking your own (though I think you'd be safe with ginger!).

Find another doctor. The theory that menopause is a normal part of life for a woman is a complete (male-created) myth, and aching muscles are not a symptom of menopause anyway, even if it were true.

I'm 43 and 2 years ago (at 41) I was diagnosed as being in menopause. My doctors were fine with my being menopausal at 41 - I wasn't.

Turns out I really had chronic Lyme and several coinfections. Needless to say, because I was able to reverse my "normal" menopause, I no longer believe menopause is ever normal. If your hormones are shutting down, you likely have chronic infection.

I would highly recommend the book "The Menopause Industry - how the medical establishment exploits women".

I used Vitex/Chaste Tree also called agnus castus and i am happy to say it helped me avoid the hot flashes and the many problems associated at this time of homrmal changes. hope this helps,GoodLuck!
