B-12 nourishes the nerves, encourages better function and new growth, so that makes sense.

If you work with a alternative medicine practitioner that is properly trained and knows what they are doing, very few treatments are risky. This is why most western MD's will frown upon homeopathic treatments: because it threatens their lively-hood.

Friedrich & Jared: I will take a 10,000 year old tried-and-true herbal remedy over some synthesized, toxic substance forced from a laboratory test tube any day.

Outside of seeing my dentist, and my gynecologist for routine check ups, I haven't needed a western MD's care in 3 years.
And I've also found that not every little ailment needs a pill to resolve it.
It's healthier to admit it's your poor diet and inactivity causing your health problems than popping countless pills and blaming McDonald's and American Idol for your irresponsibility and lack of willpower.

To some diseases, Homeopathy is MAGIC! That's why some doctors practice homeopathy side by side of their normal practice. Trust me, in case of "wart" (pimple like something on face or anywhere in body)-----it's ONLY homeopathy that works like magic! Otherwise one have to go for surgery to remove those!

The CAM (complementary and alternative medicine) is accepted. It works, however, not to be used in acute phases or in the psychiatry. All prevention purposes and chronic courses are cases for CAM.
