What is a good alternative to practicing medicine?!

Question: What is a good (excellent income, ideal hours) alternative to practicing medicine for a licensed physician with a ton of loans to repay who has not yet started their residency (research is definitely not an option)?

Let us prioritize things here!
1. A doctor, licenced.
2. Good job with excellent income and ideal hours.
3. Non practicing.
4. Hasn't yet started residency (irrelevent here)
5. Research is not an option.

A doctor is meant to practice. Non practicing doctor is an anachronism. If that option is taken away, I am afraid there are very few jobs left over.
1. Online medical writer. I can give you good leads there, but that job is more gruelling than a medical practice.
2. Medical transcription. May not be that great in earning department but ideal hours is OK.
3. Forget about 'doctor' part and do what every one else is doing, find some job.

But the tons of loans to repay part can be solved only with a medical practice.
