Dr. Whitaker and many other well-known natural doctors recommend some of these therapies and others for various ailments. B-12 has been used for millenia (if you count eating certain foods to gain the benefits) and acupuncture has been used for centuries, but hyperbaric treatment is newer. As the first answerer said, it can be deadly when used improperly, but it's been found to be very beneficial by doctors that use it properly.

Before starting any treatment like this, I would suggest doing research and talking at length with your doctor to make sure it would be good and safe for you in particular (not based on some article that can't see if you have a condition that would make the therapy bad for you). If there's doubts, don't try it. Good luck!

No. Vitamin therapy is almost always a scam. Vitamins are apoenzymes, they are frequently used chunks of chemical which fit into specific enzymes to make them work. You either have enough of them, or you have a known vitamin deficiency disease.

If you are looking for a 'woo' factor, or some sort of magic effect, it does not make sense to pick substances which have been so completely studied.

The only vitamin deficiency which is relatively common is in fact, the B vitamin group, such as is described here. However this is only normally found in young male alcoholics who eat no food away from the bar.

Too much vitamin B causes nerve damage.

Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment sounds like a scam too - oxygen is poisonous for divers in too high a concentration.

Well I'm an holistic therapist but I have not come across these before! I wouldn't really class them as holistic treatments myself but they are definitely alternative. I cannot see any harm in them. I think I would have to do a little more research myself on the injection therapy however.

It would worry me that none of these treatments has been published in reputable scientific journals. The references listed are just the "house organ" for each therapy. If you want to research these some more, try this site:
