I want to grow Calendula. What do I need?!
Question: I want to grow some Calendula this summer to use in making some skin care creams and things. But, how do I know that the seeds I bought are the type I need?
The seed packet says:
MARIGOLD
Burpee's Best Mix
CALENDULA La Mejor Mezcla de Burpee
The picture shows a mixture of yellow, orange, and dark orange marigold flowers.
Will this type of marigold make the calendula oil that's good for skin care? If not, what exactly do I need to look for? Or, is one type of marigold plant better for this purpose than some others?
