Question: That their are an awful lot of uneducated people here trying to undermine the creditability and effectiveness of holistic and alternative therapys? I find it really quite distasteful to think that people are trying to imply that alternative therpys are not benifical as for a fact i have studied these alternative practices and know they are very benificial?

The so-called 'scientists' that like to troll about such things never give any information about their backgrounds or scientific credentials, nor do they give citations about the "studies" that supposedly support their comments. I think only personal experience with standard medicine in their lives or the lives of those close to them may at some point lead them to question their take on alternative therapies.
The strangest thing for me at this site it the repeated questions about illegal drug use. How can that be considered alternative medicine?
There are trolls in many Y!A sections- misogynists in Women's Studies, hunters in Vegetarian and Vegan, homophobic bigots in Lesbian, Gay etc....
It's easier to put things down and insult people, than it is to educate yourself.
