Sinus drain?help it's painful?!
Question: so i'm just getting over that huge flu everyone in the states seems to have. i think my sinuses or something is plugged. my ear feels plugged up and everytime i move i feel like water is swishing around and it hurts. what are some home remedies? i heard about some tapping stuff but it didn't work. please help it's painful

Sorry to hear that. I've heard that steam inhalation or saline wash/nasal irrigation helps. You can also try the netti pot to clear up your sinuses. However, would like to stress that you should check with a doctor first before doing any home remedies. You don't want to aggravate the problem. Good luck!
Quit eating, your sinuses should drain eventually, drink plenty of water and get rest.
Go to the store and get some of those little red sinus pills. The ones that have pseudoephedrine are controlled, but the other ones, with phenylalanine work and are available over the counter. Take according to directions on box. (usually max of one per six hours)
