Its not a question of learning from mistakes, its a question of fully understanding what is being said for example people say that 'We should slap some sense into China' over Darfur
it is definitely not an alternative medication for stupidity, simply an issue regarding peoples ability to grasp the Point.
Anyone who believes in qi, or energy channels, or potentised water with a memory, or crystals or any other altmed fantasy deserves a slap for their stupidity.
It wouldn't knock any sense into them, it would just be fun.
