Drinking and amoxicillin?!
Question: I'm on my last day of my 10 days of taking amoxicillin..I'll have 1 pill left to take but I plan on drinking some beers tonight...Is it ok to take the last one after I'd been drinking or should I just take it the next day?..Need some solid answers please..Thanks

Yes, you are at the end of the therapy a beer will not hurt and might even help restore some normal intestinal flora that antibiotics destroy, and some yogurt would be good too, GOOGLE the benefits of beer, you might be surprised that beer drinkers have lower cancer rates and heart disease, but do all in moderation, dont want a beer gut to develop!
Take your medication as prescribed always, no matter the medication. As far as drinking, any medication that I've been on suggests that I should not consume alciholic beverages so maybe you'll want to wait a day or so, but if not call the drug store where you purchased it and just ask them, they would know. Have fun
the biggest reason i know for not drinking while on antibiotics, is because the alcohol causes the antibiotic to not be effective. i would say drink tonight if you want, but make sure you take the antibiotic first thing in the morning.
