Chiropractors believe that dysfunction to the nervous system leads to poor health and disease. They locate the problem and correct it by moving the problematic back bone back into alignment, restoring disc function and reducing inflammation.

For the most part, chiropractic is safe. There are different techniques they use which further reduce the risk if you are deeply concerned. And depending on the type of injury or problem, it may or may not hurt.

I have referred numerous patients to chiropractors with excellent results. I also regularly seek treatment myself and I could not be more pleased, they have saved me from early disability retirement. I recommend chiropractors who undergo further training in Gonstead method, they have been consistently the best in their profession.

I think Chiropractors help it does not hurt it just makes noise but the key when you go is you have to relax or they won't be able to adjust you the best they can. All they do it push and manipulate your back so that all your bones became aline again. Every ones back gets out of place it just hurts some people more than others and sometimes it can't correct it's self.

You would be better off seeing a professional massage therapist.

Do your homework before you choose just any chiropractor. See if you can get recommendations. You could even visit their office and ask if they have testimonial letters you could read or ask if any of their clients would provide them with a good recommendation. Chiropractors are like doctors. Some are much better than others at treating you.

The initial consultation and visit may consist of answering dozens of questions about your overall health and problems you might be having. Some things asked may not even appear to be related to what you are getting help for. They might measure you - - - like your legs, arms, height. And most chiropractors want to do X-rays to use to help them know how to begin adjustments.

The adjustments they make to your back and neck do not hurt. They have you lie on a table and it can end up being relaxing. They are minor adjustments and are done a little bit over a period of weeks. I could tell some definitely improvement after the first week or two. You need to expect to go for treatment maybe 3 times a week at first for a couple of weeks, then 2 visits per week for 2-3 weeks and then 1 visit per week. It's not a quick fix, but it is geared more to fixing what may be causing the problem rather than providing pain relievers to mask the symptoms.

I went to a chiropractor for a year and a half. I highly recommend giving one a try. If I had the right type of insurance or if I could afford it, I'd continue to see one just for maintenance because adjustments need to be made to the spine and neck regularly because it does get out of alignment. Good luck!

be were of Chiropractors.

if you have small problem they will fix it. but they will say that your body is a worse condition. by talking to you they will get in to your mind and make you go there many more times.

and that will cost you big time. because they charge a lot.before you sign up read all fine print.

follow your gut filling. if you do not like what they say back off.
