This stuff called "floxin" it is an antibiotic ear drop. Was given to me by a ear, nose and throat doctor...However, if it is really bad, they'll put him oral antibiotics as well. Go to a nearby "walk in" clinic, they're open on a Saturday... good luck to you...

roll a long peice of newspaper in to a tight cone shape....place the small end in his ear, and light the other end on fire. The smoke will help clear his ears out. I know it sounds crazy but it works awesome. Trust me. If it continues or gets worse though, make sure and see a doctor. there are a lot of clinics out there that work off a sliding scale fee. Meaning he wont pay the normal fees.
you can buy over the counter DEBROX and try to remove the fluid and wax by doing this you will dry the ear canal and maybe unblock the Eustachian tube but if it doesn't work i would see a doctor. and maybe even an ear specialist. I work for an otolarangologist and when adults get ear infections there is usually an underlying cause
Ear infection is very serious.... you can loose hearing from it!! I would suggest to go to the nearest emergency room and even if he does not have insurance he does not have to give them his ssn and his real name!!
If you feel it's infected, go see a Dr. right away for a prescription. Your hearing is nothing to mess with and it can also effect your balance.
What we use for ear infection:
Grapefruit Seed Extract liquid - dilute 5 drops to 3 oz of water. Use a dropper to put several drops in the affected ear until the infection clears - it won't take long.
Another option is tea tree oil
Both can be found at your local health food store. We've used the GSE for doctor diagnosed ear infections and refused antibiotics. We don't bother seeing a doctor for ear or throat infections anymore. Just use the GSE, gargle with it if throat infection. You can continue for 24 hours after last sign of infection if you want, but isn't necessary.

eventually it will probably go away with time. otherwise, you will need to get antibiotics. give it a week or so before seeking treatment. just regular tylenol should help with the discomfort.
I always use colloidal silver for our families ear aches. It kills the infection and works fabulously. Just put a couple drops in the ear a few times a day untill it's over.
