Well, you are going to need a little more medicine than laughter if you just lost your leg in an accident or something of the like but that expression means that a good attitude helps situations that otherwise are quite difficult and painful. Good luck!

Yes it's true. when you laugh it releases endorphin. so... laugh all you want! you'll live happy and long!!

No... Stem cells is... lol

The answer is yes. There is a movie series done by famous British director/producer John Cleese called The Human Face especially spoke of this.
There are about 60 laughing groups in India who gather every morning just to laugh for 30-60 minutes to improve health. About 200 such groups world wide.

In the movie, they demonstrated that a research has shown even one is faking the laugh, he/she can still benefit from it, as the body's mechnism is going through the same benefitial movements.

Laugh, whether you mean it or not. Laugh!

YES especially good for depression, try having a jokathon with friends.LOL-LOL-LOL.

YEAH...LAUGHTER IS A SMILE PUT TO MUSIC...

LAUGH YOUR WAY TO GOOD HEALTH.

it is for general purposes...lower BP...

Laughter is the best medicine if you are sad and are having a bad day...but technically it isn't..but for me it always is!!! XD

Laugh like there's no tomorrow! It'll put a smile on your face and others around you. xp

So have a laughable day everybody!!!!!!!!!!! =D =D =D

Studies show that you'll actually live longer if you laugh more =)

I believe in laughter as medicine. So grab a funny movie and yuck it up!!

yes. i love to laugh
?Melli_Boo?

For general health....yes it is. I love a good joke every now and again. A gafaw here and a snicker there.

I agree with Gadfly in toto. I should know because I am
anchor person to my local laughter club started by me
and another medical doctor (allopathy with a broader
outlook). Though clubs in India have innovated and use
15 to 17 different types of laughter i prefer only two i.e.
GREGARIOUS LAUGHTER and GIGGLING LAUGHTER
besides we also do clap theraphy and AUM chanting
along with few joint exercise and end it with a positive
declaration. Please note even if it is a fake one sub-
conscious mind accept it and releases happy hormones
to experience a feeling of JOY. Dr. Madan of
Mumbai (India) was the originator of Laughter Club.
Good luck and God bless. Cheers! :o)

I think it helps immensely. I have a special friend who always knows without even talking to me when i need a laugh and always sends jokes at the right time.

Nope.
What about the people who can't laugh due to paralysis?
I think there's one more medicine that is far greater than laughter.
It's called LOVE
Love heals almost everything!
Spread love...you'll see how happy everyone becomes and how they get healthy!

Have a Good Day!

More Than Likely...!!

It adds years to your life. It lightens moods. So, I'd say so.

Yes! It gets the good endorphines moving. Happy people don't seem to be as sick.
