Yes. I've heard that Maitake and Shiitake (sp?) both kill cancer cells. I've read this and heard it from customers at the health food store I used to work at.
I think it's important that when it comes to Cancer you don't avoid doctors.

But there is a relatively new thing out called MMS. You can google it but you have to check for "Homeopathic MMS". What it is is Chlorine D-Oxide. One part chlorine to two parts oxygen. This website has an e-book that you can print and it tells you all about it. Plus there are sources on the website and this guy I believe is the one and only who makes it for everyone. You can also make it yourself at home. It's not expensive either. About $20 for a 4 oz bottle that should last you for a year or more.

LOTS and LOTS of things can kill cancer cells in a petri dish. It's easy.
HOWEVER....
1) Can the substance kill the cancer cells and leave normal cells untouched? NOT SO EASY.
2) Can the substance be delivered to the cancer cells in the required concentration? NOT SO EASY.
These factors (and others) are the reason why many things sound so good when they are first discovered in the labs, but NEVER MAKE IT TO CLINICAL PRACTICE.
Of course, there are loonies out there who all think it's because "big pharma represses natural cures" or some such nonsense. They like to ignore the fact that "big pharma" is made up of people who get cancer just like anyone else...

Do some research on reishi, maiitake, shiitake mushrooms and kombucha (which is a slime mold and related to fungi, ie related to mushrooms and other ancient, non-chlorophyll containing plants). There are other mushrooms and fungi that aid in healing cancers and supporting the immune system as well. Many, many of the most ancient plants have very deep healing properties such as lichens (Usnea), sphagnum moss and peat, horsetail (Equisetum), Indian Pipes, gingko, shave grass, ferns, and almost all evergreens and conifers etc, etc, etc.
This is interesting; however what does the do for Cancer in the human body?
