Alot of people find diet the key to managing motor tics.

If you are serious about preventing or managing motor tics I would try these things for at least 2-3 weeks and see if there are improvments.

1. Cut out the dairy. Mainly milk but if you can live without cheese then cut that out also. Replace milk with soy milk or rice milk (flavoured soy milk is very good tasting)

2. Cut out meat. This might be hard but if you think it is worth getting rid of tics then do it. Increase fruit and vegetables and especially nuts, seeds and beans (to replace protein and iron found in meat)

3. NO CAFFEINE. - This is a must. Also includes taurine and guarana.

4. Daily multivitamin.

Please try this I know for a fact that it has helped others. You wil feel a LOT better.

Edit- Eat fish and seafood but if you don't like fish and seafood then have flaxseed oil or another oil with omega 3,6 &9 fatty acids. (Can be taken in capsule form)
Also have foods high in zinc and magnesium or take additional supplements.

don't take stimulants.
