Global Wellness Rife Machine?!

Question: My roommate has his hopes up for this $1700 machine, but I have my doubts. Anyone here ever use one?

The Global Wellness Rife Machine has a statement on the site that sell it. It says:

The statements contained on these pages have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Rife machine technology is NOT considered scientific by the FDA, nor is it even recognized.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) still bans treatments similar to those of the Royal Rife machine. We do not make any inferences that this machine is for medical treatment.

It's a rip off! Things like this are also dangerous because people often waste time waiting for them to work, delay treatments that do work, and end up more ill than they would be had they sought conventional treatments.
