Any warm compress over a closed eye like a warm towel or tea bag can allow the ducts in the eyes to open up and the st ye to discharge. You may require surgery and or antibiotics only if it impedes your vision or becomes painful and red. Make sure the warm compress is not HOT! or you may end up scalding your eye!!!

no it doesnt work. a stye is caused by bacteria growing in the eye and is linked to a poor immune system fighting it due to stress. unless you find having a tea bag on your eye relaxing then it will have no benefit

you need to wet the tea bag, so make yourself a cup! i have also used a potato, my gma made me when i was little, swear it was gone completely in 2 days, good luck! make sure you try to keep your eyes clean, and throw out any old makeup, they tend to cause them along with dust.

A tea bag is a small, porous paper, silk or nylon bag containing tea leaves for brewing tea. The tea remains inside the bag as the tea is brewed, making it easier to dispose of the leaves
