Take the liquid you will take the pill with into your mouth. Now, tip your head back and open your mouth. Drop the pill in and swallow. That way, the pill will land in the liquid and not on your tounge.
You weigh up the side effects of the pill against the effects of the illness, and make a decision like an adult
Are you allowed to crush it?
Very important - you must check with doctor or check instructions on packet first - before crushing it.
If so, crush it and mix it with something sweet (i.e.) apple sauce or grated apple.
You won't notice the taste of the pill .
