Saint John's Wort for recreational use?!

Question: Anybody have any info about St. John's Wort used recreationally? I know it's usually used to treat depression, and I'm aware of the side effects. I'm looking for experiences of people who are not depressed and taking (or who have taken) SJW .

Thanks

St John's Wort is an SSRI (Selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitor). As such, it may also be use as a mood elevator which kicks in after about 2 weeks of the standard dose.

Do you think it will give you a high and make you happy? It usually takes a week or so for the blood level to get to a point where the herb becomes therapeutic to treat depression. If you take too much at once, you will get a headache. I can't imagine why anyone would think that this can be used for recreational purposes.

It's also used to calm anger and stabilize.

It doesn't make you feel high, just gives you a sense of well being. I love it.
