Question: Please explain thank you

Answers: Please explain thank you

Hi Surfer G. You are smart enough to recognize what most people do not understand - minerals, vitamins and herbs are different things!

Vitamins (there are 13 of them) are organic molecules needed in small amounts for basic biochemical functions that the body cannot make adequate amounts of.

Minerals are inorganic molecules needed in small to moderate amounts because they also participate in the body's biochemistry and some serve as structural molecules.

Herbs are plants and/or plant extracts that have health promoting and/or medicinal properties.

Best wishes and good luck.

Minerals would be like inorganic compounds, required in small amounts and used by the body to complete metabolic pathways. Vitamins are required much more often and in larger amounts, used for specific physiological functions. Some vitamins are activated in the skin and others are synthesized in the digestive tract. Herbs are parts of living plant life and most often a part of the diet.

vitamins are A, B's, C, D, E,

minerals include zinc, selenium, potassium, magnesium, calcium

some herbs are echinacea, ginkgo, boswellia, valerian, astragalus,
