There are certain trigger points in the feet and hands that will induce labor. As a massage therapist, we are instructed to NOT use these points until the client is at least 38 weeks. These points can definitely be used during labor and post partum as it helps expel the placenta also.
I have used it 3 times in the delivery room and it didn't really help at all. It really is a myth and hasn't been proven that those points induce labor.
Are you asking because you are pregnant or are you wanting to learn to be a doula.
There are many other things out there to help ease labor like hypnotism, herbs, massage etc.
