B-50 Complex vitamin and ankle pain?!

Question: I just started taking Vitamin B-50 complex for energy, anxiety and depression. I was advised by my pychologist to go to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist which complex vitamin I should take and she recommended complex B-50.

It works really well for my energy levels along with mild migraines that I suffer from my slight anxiety but at the same time I noticed it has been causing pain in my right ankle when I walk (feels stiff and almost sprained). I didn't take it today and the pain is gone. I really want to take these for the benefit of the energy and controlling my slight anxiety.

Please don't recommend me taking AD's as I tried them and they made me overly tired and caused my cholesterol to sky rocket (sleeping all the time). I suspect it may be the B-6 that is causing the ankle pain but not sure. Just wondering if I should just take B-12 only or something else?

What you are calling the B-50
Complex vitamin is actually
the entire spectrum of B
vitamins. (I think there are about 8 different vitamins that
make up the entire B Complex.)
The 50 after the B, means that each capsule has 50mg.
in it.
I personally take B-100
daily.
I see no relationship between taking B vitamins
and ankle pain. I think you should look elsewhere. Like
are you running a lot? Are you sleeping differently?
Do you twist your foot around
a chair while on the computer?
Another help of B vitamins
is being able to think more
clearly, and find answers to
problems more easily.
Your brain synapsis work a
lot better.

it might be something to do with nerve pain.
Too much Vitamin B6 can affect your nerves.
I would try a strong dose of Vitamin b12 or a weaker dose of vitamin b complex..see how you get on with that

Unless there's an added preservative, artificial sweetner, coloring or flavoring, gluten, lactose etc in the vitamin that you are having an allergic reaction to ........... but i doubt it ?

i suspect that your aching joints are stemming from the fact that you are perhaps not ingesting enough calcium or vitamin D on a daily basis................... Vitamin B12 needs vitamin B6, calcium and Vitamin D for effective absorption ie ~ unless all are present you will be displaying deficiencies in all ?

Start with vitamin D and calcium as the B6 would be included in the multi B complex supplement you are taking (that's why its important not to take the B vitamins separately but rather as a whole complexas they all work synergistically ~ together )

Either eat more foods rich in vitamin D and calcium or supplement with a calcium tablet that contains vitamin D3.

foods rich in calcium are ~ leafy and green vegies, sardines and salmon, tofu, peanuts, walnuts and sunflower seeds, dried beans, kale, broccoli and collard greens.

foods rich in vitamin D (aside from the sun, which is known as the sunshine vitamin) are ~ fish oils and cold water fishes as such as tuna, salmon, sardines and whiting.

Symptoms of calcium deficiency are achy bones, constipation, bloating and digestive troubles, headaches and migraines, irritability and moodiness and insomnia...... :0)

Keep taking the B complex supplement ensuring that it is a good quality one and also that it contains all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 andB12 ?

take care of you ?
