I am not a Doctor. but you could try to gargle with warm water and lemon until you get to the store to buy the throat spray.
The throat spray chlora-something is like 8 or 9 dollars.

If the sore throat persists, go to the doctor because it could be strep this time of year.

You could also gargle salt water, preferably warm.
Gargle/drink lemon water warm.

A mixture of warm water, lemon, liquer (i use peach brandy) and I use tea, some people omit the tea or use coffee or wahtever.
Basically anything warm will help.
Instead of throat spray, try this: blend 3 pineapple rings and 1/4 of a cleaned fresh ginger root until smooth. Drink this three times a day for the sore throat.
