Can you snort or smoke Kratom?!

Question: Kratom is not often smoked, although this method does provide some effect (not nearly as much as chewing the leaves or drinking the tea).
I wouldn't snort it, since that could permanently damage the nasal lining (and it probably wouldn't be any more effective than chewing the leaves).
