Any hints/ reccomendations on natural herbs to aid in fertility?!

Question: I have never been on the pill, am a vegetarian and have always been a naturalist. We have been trying since January. I am currently taking Lady's Mantle and recently ordered Red Clover, Raspberry Leaf and Nettle to make teas. Thank you!

Chasteberry is a centuries old herbal treatment to aid in procreation. Wild yam is also a plus if taken after ovulation, if taken before ovulation it may prevent pregnancy. False unicorn root is an aid, but take only in moderation to avoid side effects such as hot flashes and upset stomach. A Chinese treatment Dong Quai is also an old traditional herb, but since it is a blood thinner, should not be taken during the menstrual cycle. Things to avoid: nicotine, alcohol and drugs. A small glass of red wine an hour before bedtime is acceptable. Since you already eating organic, your diet is healthy, just be sure to eat a balanced one.

At home I have a traditional Japanese herbal book. Next time you are there, take it home with you. It is in the gun cabinet drawer in the map room. Feel free to take any of the other herbal books also.

make sure you aren't eating low-fat or no fat meals, you need be be eating plenty of healthy fat for fertility. (avocados are great for all aspects of being fertile) strawberries too.

Well have you spoken to a doctor bout it to pin point the problem? For now I suggest you use a fertility blend its made up of vitamins and herbs that help assist in fertility you can buy it at gnc. It contains chaste tree which is a nautural herb that is good for the hormones keeping it balance and its also good for ovulation. It also contain l-arginine that is an amino acid that helps keep the uterine lining healthy. Most importantly its has folic acid, iron, b12 and other vitamins and minerals that will help maintain fertility health. It will also enhance the reproductive system with antioxidants it contain. These are capsules they don't contain gelatin which made from pork. You can also use progestrone cream cause you may be lacking in that. You can also take ginseng, wild yam root, licorice root which good for enhance sexual function, your parnter can take yohimbe, ginseng and saw palmetto which enchance sexual function. Selenium is good for increase sperm count and inprove fertility in women. Horny goatweed can also help with sperm count and semen density. One more word of advice lay off the sex for two or three days it can help the sperm count increase and don't keep him waiting for more than a month cause sperm left in a mans body for more than month is less than likely able to fertilize an egg.

Saw Palmetto, Blessed Thistle, Passion Flower, and raw mushrooms edible ones of course! The Fresher the better!

I highly recommend a good quality folic acid, for both you and your partner. There have been a number of studies that both men and women can benefit from this. You might also want to consider taking a "break". Sometime with fertility you drive yourself crazy when it doesn't work out right away. Good luck!

I read an article not too long ago - Mick Jagger was taking himalayan goji juice to improve his fertility. I'm sure you could google his name, and the article will come up.

Oh yeah, that juice is also vegetarian approved.
