Which supplement is better, fish oil capsules or flaxseed oil capsules?!

Fish oil capsules are much better as they provide brain benefits as well as heart benefits whereas flax oil capsules only provide heart benefits.
The reason is that fish oil contains the omega 3 fatty acid DHA which provides brain benefits and heart benefits and also EPA which provides heart benefits whereas flax oil contains the omega 3 fatty acid ALA which provides heart benefits but not brain benefits.
Fish oils are relatively better because they contain higher amounts of Omega 3 fatty acids, which are the big craze these days. They've been shown to reduce heart disease and cholesterol levels.
They both have their advantages so you could take both.
please also give some consideration to Chia seeds. They are high in Omega-3, fiber and calcium. They are not your "chia pet" seeds, but you can get them from a health food store. They don't change the taste of anything (so your child won't taste anything different when nursing) and it's easy to add to yogurt, food (sprinkle on salad), or any food you may be eating.
fish oils aint fish oils,having said that ...there products out there that are high dhea and others that are high/low dhea,there are products that come in a different types of fish oil extrat ,metajenics, comes to mind this company specializes in high grade organic sourced oils!! but you will pay big for theses ,they are suppossed to be the best?beware of gel capsules as they apperently block the lower in testine tract,by how much I dont know,,,,research research....
