In Oregon we have medical marijuana. People with the OMMA card can grow their own but are limited in the # of plants and quantity they can have on hand or you can be a grower--there are limits for that, too. I'm sure you can find specifics online for the state you're looking for.

I don't but I live in Northern California and Sooo many people here do. They have there 215 cards so it's legal. You just can't have over 99 plants.
